A 3D configurator for handmade lamps.
Oficina Doze makes lamps to order in twelve finishes and four sizes. Customers often struggled to picture combinations from photographs alone.
Challenge
Each lamp is handmade, so renders had to feel honest rather than glossy. The configurator also had to work well on phones, where most visits happen.
Approach
Building on the Digital Object study, I used simple lighting, scanned textures and a fixed camera with a few angles. Every change updates the price and lead time immediately.
Result
Customers now arrive at the workshop with complete specifications. Returns caused by mismatched expectations almost disappeared.
